Mooi Bly Stalle opened its doors on 16 December 2005 as a small privately owned yard with 8 stables, 1 sand arena, 1 lunging arena and a derby/cross country arena. The facility was created as a “horse heaven” focussing on the needs and happiness of these amazing animals. The design and architecture was horse orientated. Due to demand for outstanding horse care and flexibility, today the yard has grown to 90 stables, 7 arenas, wonderful picnic places and a kuier arena for the two legged Mooi Blyers!

The yard has managed to maintain its culture of personal care, horse orientated, and a family who cares deeply and strives to create a horse heaven. Our focus is to be a happy place. We also have facilities now for retirement of horses/ponies.

The name Mooi Bly was born from the Afrikaans meaning which can be translated to beautiful place or happy stay. The yard encourages competitive riding as much as a casual fun riding. It is truly multi-disciplinary (from competition riding to fun outrides; dressage; show jumping; utility; showing; western riding; cross country & liberty training) with outstanding trainers. We offer quality training with a good portion of fun!
